International Book Fair

In February, the spectacular La Cabaña fortress in Havana is converted into a large open-air library every year.

International Festival Old Havana: City in Motion

Romerías de Mayo

The Romerías de Mayo (Pilgrimage of May) is a tradition of the city of Holguín and consisting of a Christian celebration that culminates in sumptuous meals and long libations.

The festivities take place every year from the 2nd to the 8th, combining tradition and modernity to convert the city of Holguín into the Capital of Young Art and the World Festival of Artistic Youth.

Romerías de Mayo

The Romerías de Mayo (Pilgrimage of May) is a tradition of the city of Holguín and consisting of a Christian celebration that culminates in sumptuous meals and long libations.

The festivities take place every year from 2 to 8 May, combining tradition and modernity to thus convert the city of Holguín into the Capital of Young Art and the World Festival of Artistic Youth.

The Fiesta del Fuego (Festival of Fire) is held annually the 28th of June until the 5th of July and is a riot of music, color and joy, with fire rituals and electronic music played by top DJs.

It includes a series of shows, exhibitions and street celebrations with an emphasis on Caribbean culture and the highlight of the party is the Fire Parade on the final night.
